Medusa's Lair

Description

Pacific coast, Oregon

In Greek myth, Medusa was one of three gorgon females, whose gaze turned mortal men to stone. She had snakes for hair, and inhabited a sea-faring cave where she could live free of harassment. She was beheaded by Perseus, who slayed her to save his beloved Danaë.

PS: Perseus used Medusa's head as a weapon before giving it to the goddess Athena to place on her shield. Isn't that a great scene to imagine?
"Hey, Perse. You're forgetting your sword."
"Nah, man. I don't need it."
"Okay..."
***
"Dude, what's that soldier running with?"
"Do you see this bandage over my eye?" *points at face* "Why the fuck are you asking me?"
"I think it's a bird; no, no - a plane: wait - it's superman!"
"Bloody Greeks always running off with guys. Such pussies."
"Wait...he has long hair! Maybe it's a she. Maybe it's super woman!!! She has a nice ass...but I can't see it from here!"
"Well, squint."
.....
"Pelonius?"
...
*pokes Pelonius who promptly falls over stone cold dead*
"Oh, shit." *pulls eyepatch tight*
